DR.  MCCARTHY IJIEBOR PhD,USA, MPA,MBA, MNIM, ANIM, AICM

He is the President/Chairman of the Institute. 

He holds a PhD in International Business from Lacrosse University, Illinois, USA, a Masters in Public Administration and an MBA from Imo State University, Owerri, Imo State.  He is also a member of various Professional Bodies with over 25 years working experience that cuts across different sectors of the economy.

At various times he worked at Ebhomielen Pius and Co. Chartered Accountants, Jacob Nehikhare and Co. Chartered accountants, Nigeria Oil Mills Limited, Kano and Lagos, Dresser Rand Nigeria Limited amongst others.

A seasoned and accomplished businessman; He is the Chairman/CEO of a group of companies with interests in Hospitality, Food, Engineering, Finance and Education amongst others.

PROF. PETER CHUKWUYEM  EGBON PhD, MSc.

He is on the Governing Council and he is the Deputy President of the Institute. 
He is a Professor of Economics at the Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State. 
He has held several administrative positions in and outside the University, including but not limited to:

  • Deputy Vice Chancellor, Delta State University, Abraka. (2000-2004)
  • Ag. Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, Delta State University, Abraka. (1998-2000)
  • Ag. Head, Department of Accounting and Finance, Delta State University, Abraka. (1998)
  • African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) /National Consultant of the National Centre for Economic Management and Administration(NECEMA) a defunct parastatal of the National Planning Commission (NPC), Abuja (1995-1997)
  • United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)/National Consultant to NCEMA (1993-1995)

He has published several scholarly articles in National/International journals, referred books and monographs.

MRS. JOYCE ADAORA OKOLI MBA, M.A., LL.B.

She is on the Governing Council and the Vice President of the Institute.
She holds an MBA from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa, Anambra State.  MA, International Law and Diplomacy, University of Jos, Plateau State - 1990, LL.B (Hon) -1987, University of Benin, Edo State, B.L. 1988, Nigerian Law School, Lagos.

She is a seasoned banker with over 18 years of banking experience in Investment Analysis, Customer Services, Business Development and Operation, Risk Management, Marketing and Management.  She is presently a Vice President/Group Head with one of the top banks in Nigeria.

PROF. CHRISTOPHER ORUBU PhD.

He is a Professor of Economics at the Delta State University Abraka, Delta State. 
He is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council.
His major areas of academic research include Energy and Petroleum Economics; Development Policy, and Environmental and Resource Economics.

He has over sixty publications in learned journals,   books and presentations at various conferences, workshops and seminars,   spread nationally and internationally.

He was Head of the Department of Economics for several years, and also former Dean of the Faculty of the Social Sciences, at the Delta State University.

He was a full time Consultant Economist (1999 – 2001) at the National Centre for Economic Management and Administration (NCEMA), based in Ibadan.
He is an active member of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Professor Orubu has held several other positions of responsibility in and outside the University, including membership of the Board of Directors, Delta State University Investment Company Ltd;
Delta State Manpower Committee;
Delta State chapter of the Conflict Mitigation and Management Regional Council sponsored by the International Foundation for Education and Self-Help (IFESH).

He is the current Chairman of Delta State University Board of Survey.

He has also served as Consultant to Delta State Ministries of Commerce and Industry, Economic Planning, and Shell Petroleum Development Company on Environmental Impact Assessment at different times.

DR. DOUGLASON GODWIN OMOTOR PhD, MBA,  MSc.

He is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council.

He holds a PhD in Economics and He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance, Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State.  He has held several administrative positions in and outside the University including but not limited to:

  • Member, University Committee on Instructional Placement of Postgraduate Students at Shell Training School, Warri. (2003)
  • Level Adviser, Department of Economics, Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State. (2003-.2004)
  • Co-ordinator, MSc Programme, Department of Economics, Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State. (2006-2008)
  • Ag. Director, Centre for Continuing Education Programmes, Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State. (2008 to date).

Dr. D. G. Omotor has published several scholarly articles in National and International journals and referred books.

AVM  WALTER AMAECHI OGUJIOFOR DSS, psc fwc MS.c MBA.

He is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council.  
He is a Fellow of the Certified Institute of Management (FCIM) with an MBA (2001) from the Imo State University, Imo State and an MSc from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State (2005). 
A graduate of the Prestigious, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in 1976 and later earned the Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL) and Airline Transport Pilot’s License (ATPL) from the UK and USA in 1988 and 1994 respectively.

AVM Ogujiofor has served in many NAF units as operations pilot and has flown three different aircraft types.  He has also served in various Staff and Command capacities including but not limited to:

  • Commanding Officer of Primary Flying Training Wing, Kaduna
  • Deputy Director of Air Systems at the Defence Headquarters
  • Command Evaluation Officer (CEO) at Headquarters Training Command
  • Commander at 305 Flying Training School, Enugu, NAF Base Makurdi and NAF Base, Ikeja respectively
  • Director of Research at the Defence HQ
  • Chief of Defence Communication at the Defence College, Abuja.

He is currently the College Secretary at the Defence College, Abuja.

MR. MOMODU KASHETU AMONOMIE MBA, MBF, B.Comm.India.

He is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administrators with a Masters in Business Administration and Banking and Finance, from the Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State. 

He has worked in various capacities in his over 16 years of banking experience where he attained the position of Assistant General Manager.  His wealth of experience cuts across financial management, accounting, investing, consulting, marketing and management.

Mr. M. K. Momodu currently serves as audit and management consultant to various private and public organizations

MR. DANIEL OSAREMEN AKHILELE MILR,MPA.

He is a Member of the Governing Council and Director of Administration/Services of the Institute.
He holds a Masters in Industrial Labour Relations from the Delta State University, Abraka (1998), Delta State.

He has over 15 years working experience in Business Administration, Industrial and Human Relationship Management, and Business Development.

Mr. D. O. Akhilele, (KSM), has worked at various times in the private sector.

A seasoned business administrator, He serves as a Director on the Board of various companies.

MR. KESIENA MOKE MBA.

He is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council.

He holds an MBA from the Delta State University, Abraka, Delta state.
He has over 15 years working experience in the area of Business Planning and Administration. 
He is the Executive Director (Administration) of a successful group of companies with interest in different sectors of the Nigerian economy.

MR. DEJI OSIGBODI OLAGBOYE ACA, MSc UK, PGC UK.

He is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council.

A chartered accountant, He holds a certificate in International Business and a Masters (with distinction) in Accounting and Finance from De Montfort University Leicester, in the United Kingdom.  At various times, He worked at OA and Co. Chartered Accountants and Tax Practitioners, Standard Global Services Limited and Standard Trust Bank, from where he joined Oceanic Bank Nigeria Plc in 2003.

His wealth of experience cuts across several areas including Credit Analysis, Tax Management, Risk Analysis and Management, Business Development and Marketing.

MR. CHRISTOPHER EROMOSELE ITUA MBA, MSc, ACA.

He is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council.

He holds an MBA in Business Administration from the Delta state University Abraka, M.Sc Banking and Finance from the University of Benin, Edo State.

A Chartered Accountant and Banker, who has worked in various departments of the banking industry, he has contributed immensely to the success of many banks in the country and is currently the branch and commercial manager of a commercial bank.

Mr. Itua’s wealth of experience cuts across several areas including Credit Administration, Business Development and Marketing, Budgeting and Budget Management, etc

PROF. MRS. JAMILA MOHAMMED NASIR PhD, LL.M, NRM, NRN.

She is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council.

She is a professor of Law. Her major area of academic research includes, Law of contract, Building Law, Business Law and Intellectual Property Law.

She has over thirty-two publications in learned Journals, books and presentations at various workshops, conferences and seminars both locally and internationally.
She was acting Dean, Faculty of Law university of Jos                   2002 – 2006

Prof. Nasir is the Current Dean, Faculty of Law University of Jos. She is also a registered Nurse and Midwife.

ALH. TUNDE HUSSAINI SUBAIRU MBA.

He is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council. He Holds an MBA (Management and Accounting) from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife.

He is currently an Assistant Director with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development Headquarters, Ilorin, Kwara State, Director of Programme (Monitoring and Evaluation M&E) UNDP Assisted  Office, Ilorin, Director and Head of Corporate Planning, Kwara Investment and Property Development LTD. (KIPDC), Ilorin.

He is currently the Chief academic & Research planning officer & Head Research & planning unit Kwara state University

Alhaji Subairu has a rich background in the areas of formulation of State Development Plans; Project Management; Programme Monitoring and Evaluation(M&E); Strategic Management, etc.

ACP. CELESTINE CHINWEZE OKOYE MBA, PGDM.

He is a member of the Institute’s Governing Council.

He holds an MBA (Management) from Imo State University. He joined the Nigerian Police Force in 1986 and has attended many courses includiing, the Senior Command Course at the Police Staff College Kuru Jos, Executive Management Course at Administrative and Staff College of Nigeria.

ACP Okoye is currently an Assistant Commissioner of Police ''B' Department Operations, Delta State, Nigeria.

ASSOCIATE PROF PIUS EBHOMIELEN (REV) M.SC, ACCA, FCCA, ACA

He is a member of the institute’s Governing Council.

A professional accountant, an academician and a Clergy man, He is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Head of Department of Accounting, Benson Idahosa University Benin City. He is experienced in Auditing and sustainable field researches and project implementation. His Resume of activities includes,

  • Technical and economic viability for the Establishment of a Ceramic Industry in Edo State. 1980
  • Refurbishment and Commercialisation of Nigeria Railway Corporation Enugu 1992
  • Financial Appraisal for the Independent Power Project Governors Office Asaba Delta state.
  • Coordinator ICAN – Examinations Committee Auditing Group 1994 – 2007
  • Director and Chief Consultant Resort Management LTD 1984 to date
  • Principal Partner  Ebhomielen Pius & Co Chartered Accountants

Dr. Ebhomielen is on the Board of many other companies.
